In 1994 I left a small town in northeastern North Carolina to see the world as an Officer in the United States Navy. I gave the Navy 25-years, and the Navy gave me the opportunity to lead 1000s of Sailors. Along the way I started a family, learned about and worked with industry, attended business school, met and learned from the world’s best leaders, and retired happily here in San Diego. I love my neighbors, my church, and my community. Since leaving the military, my goal has been to give back to my fellow citizens in this wonderful community.

What does Austin for Business do for your small business?  I bring decades of experience leading dynamic organizations, communicating complex planning strategies, communicating with teams, and managing/coaching leaders. Creating sound, durable, repeatable, and simple processes and efficiency are my mission.

My goal is to help your teams identify challenges, develop solutions, implement those solutions, and leverage the product of that success to increase revenue and decrease team turnover.  In short, to build resilient and enduring teams.  I enjoy watching individuals and teams achieve success and I thrive on the challenge of building a better process.
